Taking the form of short single screen puzzles, in Dude, Stop you must try to be as monstrous as possible, by performing acts of pure evil. You’re the guy who leaves the salt lid slightly loose, or deliberately uses Internet Explorer.

In short you’re the worst human being on the planet, a true monster who will stop at nothing to ruin peoples lives. But it feels so good being bad…

Rising Thunder - the great new PC focused one-on-one fighter is now in Open Alpha!

Rising Thunder is being developed by Radiant Entertainment in partnership with well-known Street Fighter expert Seth Killian and is focused on making fighting games easily accessible to newcomers while remaining fun for hardcore players. To do this the devs have removed all the multiple button commands required for special moves, so players just have to press the corresponding button to pull off a move (or a single direction and a button). It’s a wonderfully intuitive fighting game that actually works very well in conjunction with your PC’s keyboard (unlike any other fighter ever).

After a successful Closed Alpha phase, is now open to all, simply join up via the official website and kick some robot ass.

It’s Cold Out Here is a short, strange and surreal little adventure with flashes of graphical violence, in which you search for sections of stovepipe to heat up your teddy bear.
Finding these sections of stovepipe is fairly easy, with the game taking less than 10 minutes to complete, but the sights you see along the way are downright bizarre. As you explore the beautifully crafted pixel art world, you’ll meet a variety of odd characters and have visions of death and murder.
It’s a surreal and strangely beautiful little adventure, with excellent pixel art visuals and audio. It may be cold out here, it’s a fun adventure full of charm and warmth (even with the death and murder!)

Codename CURE - a fast paced Left 4 Dead-esque co-op zombie shooter in which you play a squad of special military operatives in objective-based missions to infiltrate and blow up zombie outbreak epicentres.

You and your squad must break into zombie infected areas, plant a bomb and get out fast. Infiltration is fairly easy, but getting back out before the bomb blows can be pretty tough - especially as the way you entered is often not accessible.

Codename CURE is still early in development and could do with a bit more graphical polish, but the team-based run and gun gameplay is already very enjoyable. Fast paced zombie blasting fun.

The Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Beta is now live on Xbox One! Re-live the classic multiplayer adventures of Marcus and his heavily armed bros, remastered for Microsofts latest console.

The Gears Of War: Ultimate Edition Beta offers up the multiplayer versus portion of the game for all to play, with players able to battle across classic maps, remastered a new lick of current gen paint. Highlights include new multiplayer game types, 60 fps, dedicated servers and the full game will feature 90 minutes of new campaign content (taken from the PC version).

To join in the Beta you must have an Xbox One (obviously) and an Xbox Live Gold account. Bandanas and fist bumps are optional.

Pale Machine is a wonderfully bizarre audio/visual experience in which you experiment with various different movements - such as inserting a tongue into an ear, or driving a car full of body parts while listening to some super cool beats.
Lasting the length of a song, Pale Machine is a little reminiscent of Wario Ware in the way you experiment with the controls, but with no real fail states, so you can just enjoy the music and experiment with the game. A short, surreal and very enjoyable experience.

Block Party Sports is a hilarious physics based sports game for one to four players, that see’s ridiculous rag doll sportsmen do battle across a variety of popular (and not so popular) sports.

The Alpha Demo features the Soccer gameplay mode, playable in single player, co-op, Vs and 4 player Vs. You’re not going to get Fifa-levels of realism in Block Party Sports, but you are going to have a ton of fun. Playing a little like Table Foosball, but without the bars attached, matches soon devolve into mayhem, with players flouncing around the pitch in chaotic disarray.

The full game will feature 8 ridiculous sports to play – Soccer, (American) Football, Basketball, Volleyball, Hockey, Super Soccer, Pit Ball and Outlast. We’re to too sure what the last three game modes entail, but there’s a high probability that neither will be a very authentic sporting simulation!

Wickland is an old school arena FPS heavily inspired by classic 90′s shooters like Heretic and Hexen, which allows you to morph into deadly beasts and frag your foe with unique attacks.

In Wickland the goal is very simple – kill your opponent. Players start as human characters with the ability to morph into other beast characters that are scattered around the map. The beasts are unique, which means that once a beast has been taken by a player, it will not respawn until the beast has been killed. Other types of items are also available and placed strategically around the map (potions, armour, etc.) to aid your battle.

This is no namby pamby CoD-like, Wickland a proper old school arena shooter, but with wall running, modern visuals and a very cool beast morphing mechanic. A mighty morphing retro shooter.
