Drift Stage is an über-cool retro racer, with awesome retro neon visuals and gameplay that harkens back to the glorious arcade racers of the 80’s and 90’s.

Inspired by classics such as Ridge Racer and Outrun, Drift Stage is a modern evolution of the classic arcade racer, with vibrant visuals, a rocking soundtrack and drift based arcade racing that will make you grin from ear to ear. This early alpha demo contains a time trial event for you to challenge three target time ghosts (novice/intermediate/expert), but the final version will feature a variety of retro cars and tracks, career mode, circuit races and multiplayer (local & Online).

It’s a wonderful love letter to the classic arcade racer, with striking visuals and handling that will make you laugh with glee as you perform epic drifts around corners. Retro racing doesn’t get any cooler than this.

Trackday Manager is an online racing management sim that allows you to play against 15 other players, managing races in real-time, with direct communication with the driver.

It’s a good looking game, races are fully rendered, use realistic physics and take place on real world race tracks. You manage your team from the pits, able to fully customise and upgrade vehicles, monitor the race and issue commands to your driver. It should make for a more relaxed experience than your typical racing game, but still be action packed, and the 16 player online multiplayer sounds like a blast.

World Of Speed is a great looking new racing game MMO from the creators of Need For Speed: Shift and Project Cars that sees you racing around real world locations from around the globe.

Releasing on PC only, graphically World Of Speed is looking pretty stunning, with the real world locations and licensed cars looking near photo-realistic. The game will be free to play, with micro-transactions planned to be as unobtrusive as possible and are rumoured to focus on customisation, not performance, so don’t expect to see Forza 5 style paywalls.

There’s a big focus on team based gameplay in World Of Speed, with races having mini-goals throughout them, so the team that comes in first position may not necessarily win. A good team will need racers and blockers to help cross the finish line first, but will also need drifters and drafters to earn skill points throughout the race, with the team with the most points at the end of the race winning outright.
