Star Wars Battlefront is now in Open Beta on PC, PS4 and Xbox One!

You can now download and play the Walker Assault on Hoth 40-player multiplayer battle, the Survival Mission on Tatooine and a third game mode called Drop Zone that takes place on Sullust. You’ll also have the chance to play as two of the most iconic characters int he Star Wars franchise - Luke and Darth Vader.

As it’s an EA game it’s pretty much guaranteed there will be a few bugs and connectivity issues during the first day or two, but just hang in there, the force may be strong with this one (even it the servers are weak!)

Hardware: Rivals is fast paced arcade-style vehicular arena combat game for PS4 that’s comparable to Twisted Metal, but with more of a cartoony Mad Max vibe.

There’s a wide range of rugged looking vehicles to try out, from beefy tanks to agile buggies, all with their own selection of high powered weaponry for blasting opponents. It’s a good looking game that looks set to offer some bombastic vehicle-based carnage as players charge around the arenas blasting anything that moves.

Blue Rider is an impressive new arcade shooter coming to PS4, Xbox One and Steam, in which you battle deadly hordes of robots and huge mechanical bosses.

It promises to focus on pure arcade action, skill based gameplay and large explosions. There are fifty enemy diverse types, ten mighty bosses, a nice selection of upgradable weaponry, unlockable game modes, hidden treasures and an interesting story that’s packed with fun twists.

Battleborn is an impressive new first person ‘hero shooter’ from Gearbox Software (Borderlands & Aliens: Colonial Marines) that blends MOBA-esque features with Gearbox Softwares unique blend of bombastic FPS gameplay.

Battleborn will feature a full story mode campaign, playable in single player, split-screen co-op or online co-op. The competitive online multiplayer modes feature intense 5v5 battles with a choice in a roster of 25 diverse characters, all with their own personality, weaponry and abilities.

Game modes and features are one thing but it’s Gearbox’s trademark character design and humor that make Battleborne stand out. A competitive shooter packed with vibrant color and character that thankfully looks like it’s more of a Borderlands and less of an Aliens: Colonial Marines!

Ready for more pain? Dark Souls 3 Closed Beta test incoming!

Dark Souls 3 is already looking fantastic, with gorgeous current gen visuals, and a slightly faster combat style, taking some cues from Bloodborne (but shields will definitely be present).

The Dark Souls 3 Beta test is on PS4 only, but will be available worldwide, so sign up if you’re brave enough to test From Software’s latest masochistic masterpiece!

After taking a break last year, Need For Speed is back! Retooled, refuelled and ready to offer it’s signature brand of illegal street racing!

This iteration of Need For Speed boasts five different ways to play – Speed, Style, Build, Crew, and Outlaw. This is essentially driving fast, drifting, customizing, playing with friends and being chased by the cops, with you able to combine all five to make that perfect Need For Speed moment. The most exciting prospect is the return of full motion video and the chance to see more of Need For Speed’s trademark (unintentionally) funny badly acted cut scenes.

Beta Sign Ups have now opened up for EA’s fast, furious (and hopefully funny) racer on PS4 and Xbox One. Sign up now for a chance to race those spectacular supercars and quench your need for speed.
