Minimum is an awesome looking online third person shooter from Atari, with RTS and RPG elements where players must work together to develop a strategy to win. Teams fight over the world’s energy and use Titans to break down each other’s walls.
The Beta will feature the games primary game mode – Titan, a mode where each team has one Titan between them, players must gather resources by killing Creeps to power their teams Titan to victory. The goal of Titan Mode is to bring a fresh set of objectives and team strategies to the time honored tradition of arcade style shooters. It also promises epic battles with massive Titans bashing the crap out of each other. 2014 is certainly shaping up to be the year of the Titan!

Mimimum is having an Open Beta weekend, Starting Now (Fri May 9th at 8 a.m PDT) and ending on Sunday May 11th at 10 p.m. PDT.

If you claimed a key last weekend during last weekends Beta Test it should work this weekend. If your key doesn’t work, just uninstall the game and re-install on your computer. Or, you can sign-up again and claim a new beta key

Eclipse War Online is a new card collecting MMORPG with over 700 cards to collect and the ability for your character to transform into an monster in the game.

This transformation ability dramatically changes the game, with a selection of monsters that’s wide and varied, including Ent-style creatures, behemoths, sorcerers, ogres, insects and birds. It’s an interesting gameplay mechanic, and means that there’s always a new monster to play as and a new skill-set to master.

As well as monster card collecting, there’s also arena and AoS Based PvP combat for players to do battle . Eclipse War Online is free to play, but the developers promise that it is not going to be Pay to Win, with all game items available through in-game currency.

Dogs of War is a great looking online turn based strategy game that offers deep tactical gameplay and is inspired by the Confrontation miniatures game.

With a choice of three factions, you spend Army Points to build a hierarchical group of mercenaries from the units of your choice, then send them on missions, or battle against online opponents. Each event earns resource points which you then use to enhance units. The combat system feels similar to XCOM: Enemy Unknown, battles are deeply strategic, with wealth of tactical options available to the player, though thanks to it’s intuitive UI, it never feels overwhelming.

It’s worth noting that although this is a free to play game, every unit is unlockable through in-game currency, you may be required to grind at times, but it’s certainly not pay-to-win.

The DC Comics MOBA, Infinite Crisis goes into Open Beta today and to celebrate they’re adding 3 new characters to the roster. Green Arrow, Aquaman and Mecha Superman will coin the ranks of Batman, Joker, Wonder Woman and a host of other DC Heroes and Villains.

Infinite Crisis is a fun take on the MOBA genre, and while it may not have as many playable characters as some, the DC licence adds a lot to the game, mainly because everyone enjoys beating up Superman!

Titanfall is now in OPEN Beta for Xbox One, PC will follow.

The Titanfall Beta is now open to ALL Xbox One users, no beta key required. To get into the Xbox One Beta, sign into your console and look for the Titanfall Beta download in the “New Game Demos” section of the Game Store. The PC version is due to go into Open Beta tomorrow, so then everyone will be able get into one of those big, beautiful mechs.

Major League Wizardry is a great new trading card game that pits wizard against wizard in turn based warfare.

MLW has a fantastic hand drawn art style, with monster designs that are especially inventive and fun, adding a lot of character to the game. The game’s easily accessible to newcomers, but also has plenty of depth courtesy of the wide variety of monsters, spells and traps that are at your disposal. The game features a single player campaign, online multiplayer and asynchronous play modes, allowing you to you defeat your wizardly foes, collect and trade cards to help bolster your deck.

Major League Wizardry is fun and inventive trading card game that can make for some very entertaining battles. The Open Beta is available for Win, Mac and Android, with iOS coming later in the year. There are also plans to add a variety of great new features, including ranked matches, skins, combos, monster levelling and even physical cards so you can play the game in real life.

Aura Kingdom is an interesting new MMORPG that has a fantastic looking anime art style, fast fluid fighting and focuses on companion interaction.

Your companions (Eidolons) are no mere pets; they are powerful warriors in their own right and are not to be trifled with. If you earn their trust, however, they will reward you with their invaluable aid in the numerous battles to come.

They will be holding special events throughout the Open Beta, including a screenshot contest, find a mate, monster madness, hide and seek, item matching, and more.

Sevencore is a free to play MMORPG with a focus on mounted combat, with players able to ride all manner of mechanical or Bestial mounts, from dragons to futuristic motorbikes.

Players choose from 4 different races and 4 different classes, each with their own racial abilities and skill sets, then foray into the world of Inadar looking for trouble and a cool mount to ride. The mounts are fun to experiment with, and their unique combat abilities add another layer of strategy to the proceedings.
