The Cool Biker Game With a Temporary Name is a badass biker racing game with tons of customisation options, procedurally generated levels and lots of Road Rash-style violence.

It’s a fun arcade racer where you race against (and beat up) a selection of larger than life characters (including bears) on a selection of procedurally generated highways while listening to Trash Metal.  As well as the standard Arcade racing, there’s a nice range fun gamely modes, including a Mario Kart-Style ’Mustache Mode’ with some ridiculous power-ups, ‘Long Jump’ and 'Offroad Tree Slalom’.

It’s an Arcade Racer that all about the fun, revelling in it’s own silliness. The Cool Biker Game With a Temporary Name does have a name, it’s name is 'Fun!’

Poncho is an open-world puzzle platformer where you play across multiple planes that sees you on a quest to find your Maker.

It features gameplay that takes place on different planes, as in Little Big Planet, with you exploring the 2D world by moving in and out of the 3D parallax layers.  This adds a unique puzzle element to the game, with you having to move in between layers to unlock secrets or make your way past obstructions.

A little like Fez, there are no levels in Poncho. You wake up in the centre of the game, and choose to go any way you want, with no hand holding to tell you where to go.  You’ll also be able to upgrade abilities, via merchant bots to help you discover new areas.  it rewards exploration and experimentation, with you able to interact with every creature you meet as you make your way through randomly generated ecosystems.

It’s a well crafted game, with some excellent pixel art animation, game design reminiscent of Fez, and a compelling story.  Help this charming little robot meet his maker!

Kraden’s Crypt is a fun physics influenced roguelike co-op dungeon crawler for up to four players, that features an interesting almost QWOP-like way of controlling your weapons, using your mouse or thumbstick to control their momentum.

It features vibrant and colorful character design, with huge bosses and outlandish enemy design, such as walking jelly beans, rock monsters and giant subway sandwiches. You can wield hammers, bows, swords, shields and many spells. Each of these weapons has its own unique combat mechanics. You operate the weaponry by moving the mouse (or thumbstick), and the player speed, weapon speed and enemy speed all factor into the damage that you do.

With a Kickstarter campaign due to start within the newt few days, Kraden’s Crypt is a fun game, bristling with vibrant colors, inventive enemy design, an innovative control scheme, loot, and a pleasantly chaotic co-op multiplayer.  Swinging is great fun, especially with friends!

Just Another Bug Hunt? is a fun mix of old school run and gun action and RTS elements, that sees you trying to survive for as long as possible on a seriously hostile alien planet.

The Prototype gives you access to the ‘Survival-like’ mode, in which you use guns, structures, unique abilities and A.I. familiars to fend off your inevitable demise for as long as possible (which won’t be long).  The full game will feature a choice of 4 playable characters, boss fights, randomly generated terrain and a fully fleshed out story campaign, but the Prototype is a great taster of things to come.

At the moment, the game is fun but very hard, this difficulty is mainly just down to a few issues with the game design which we’d hope will be ironed out in future releases.  The aiming system is a little odd, with you using the roller wheel on your mouse to change your shooting angle.  While this works quite well once you’re used to it, it’s still not an ideal way to play a twitchy arcade shooter (and makes shooting those damn walking mines near impossible!).  Also, at the moment, the buildings only seem to last for a short amount of time before they shut down, we’d love to see a more permanent benefit for spending your (very) hard earned cash.

Just Another Bug Hunt? is still very early in development, so there are bound to be a few rough edges, but the concept, core gameplay, visual style and audio are all great.  With a bit of polish, this could be a lot more than just another bug hunt.

In The Dead Of Night is a top-down strategy game with tower defense elements that’s set in medieval times, where you have to gather resources and construct traps during the day to protect your village and its people when the dead rise at midnight.

During the day it plays a lot like an RTS, with you able to command villagers to gather resources by cutting wood, or mining caves for rocks and metal. These resources are then used to construct the various tools and traps to keep the village safe.  At night time, your defences then will be tested to their limits by waves of attacking zombies, who will (hopefully) suffer many a gruesome death through your carefully laid traps.

It’s an interesting blend of RTS and Tower defense, with a macabre storyline and satisfyingly gory ways to dispatch the undead hordes.

Kôna is an atmospheric first-person survival exploration game set in the 1970′s where you play as a detective investigating the disappearance of his client named Hamilton, who’s gone missing along with most of the other locals.

In the finished game itself, you’ll explore vast atmospheric open levels, solve puzzles to aid your case and your survival.  You’ll use tools to help you along the way, like taking pictures with a camera as evidence, and of course you’ll have to fight to survive against nature.

The prototype is very early in development and is really just to give you a sense of the atmosphere of Kôna, allowing you to drive a snowmobile around the frozen wilderness and explore deserted cabins.  There will be a more fully featured build released within the next 10 days, which will include gameplay features and Oculus Rift support, but the current prototype does a good job of conveying a real sense of isolation in the beautiful snow-filled landscape.

GunWorld is a fun retro homage to classic 8-bit action games and 80′s action movies that features challenging gameplay, non-linear progression, huge bosses and guns that literally grow on trees!

As in Megaman, players are able complete a series of levels in any order they choose, unlocking weird and wonderful weaponry as they do.  It features old school precision platforming with a satisfyingly challenging difficulty level.  There’s also co-op play, big bosses with attack patterns to master and a ridiculous plot involving the president asking you to save the world from aliens who are killing your GunMothers (magical plants which grow guns).

Needless to say GunWorld is a charmingly silly game, full of OTT weaponry and tough as nails gameplay.  A great love letter to classic 8-bit action games such as Megaman and Contra, and steeped in the excesses of the 80′s. Gr8-Bit.

Tetropolis is a non-linear puzzle platformer set in a world that is a puzzle itself, which merges elements from Metroid and Tetris to create an entirely unique game – a Tetroidvania.

You play as an imperfect tetromino in a society obsessed with falling block puzzle games, to such a degree that even the world is constructed of tetrominoes.  As you progress through the game you will discover “control points” that allow you to alter the level, sliding huge Tetris block-shaped modules around at will.  Rearranging the map is not only necessary to create new pathways and unlock new areas, but to solve puzzles and discover the secrets of Tetropolis.

It’s a fun game that makes creative use ot the tetrominoes inherent versatility and the re-arangeable levels are a masterstroke in game design.  Who’d of thought the humble Tetris block could have the charm and personality to pull off a puzzle platform adventure so well?
