Relive is an impressive first person sci-fi puzzle adventure that has a very noble mission – to teach it’s players the basics of CPR and save a lives.

While the teachings of Relive are valuable, it makes a point of not boring you with information – it’s a first person sci-fi adventure first and foremost, complete with intriguing story line and tricky puzzles.  The devs have made a point of making it an entertaining adventure game that slips in some information about CPR in a fun and non-invasive way, not a dry CPR-focused interactive training program.

It’s a fun adventure with a worthwhile cause.  Much is made in the media about the supposedly negative effects of video games, but video games can (and do) do a lot of good.  None more so than Relive, an engaging first person adventure that literally can save a human life.

Modulocean is a relaxing audio/visual puzzle experience in which you modulate sounds to create frequencies that destroy floating cities.

The gameplay of Modulocean is fairly simple - just move the different coloured bubbles around the screen and locate the sweet spots that will cause the buildings to collapse.  The audio and visual design is superb, making for an entrancing oddity that is a joy to mess around with.

The Plight is a dark and freaky supernatural first person horror with an atmosphere reminiscent of classic Asian horror movies such as Ju-On: The Grudge and The Ring (Ringu).

In The Plight, you play Wu as he explores, recovers lost memories and attempts to discover what dark creature haunts his house.  During the course of the game you find out that some very bad things have happened in your house, including the murder of several children.  The game doesn’t spell things out for you, but there are sufficient clues scattered around the house and some particularly horrific flashbacks to help you piece together what has happened in this supernatural chiller.

The audio, visual and game design all work perfectly together to create a tense atmosphere that feels very much like you’re inside a classic Asian horror movie.  A superb spine-tingling supernatural horror.
