Who’s Your Daddy is a highly amusing asymmetric multiplayer parenthood simulator that follows the daily routine of a loving, if bumbling, father as he tries to keep his son safe from harm.

One player controls the baby and attempts to put itself in harms way, and the other player takes on the role of the father, trying to save his son from certain death.  A darkly humorous and very silly multiplayer parenting experience.

Dungeon Defenders 2 is the sequel to the popular original cooperative action RPG/tower defense game, but this time around with more unique characters, more varied items, tower defense turrets and traps (more of everything basically).

The biggest change from the original is that Dungeon Defenders 2 is a free-to-play game, but don’t worry it’s not pay to win (it’s just skins you purchase) and it also also opens the door for more support and content updates.  Dungeon defending just got a whole lot better…

World of Soccer Online is an impressive multiplayer online football game in which every character on the pitch is controlled by a different player - making for exciting 11 vs 11 online multiplayer matches.

Considering how tricky it should be to play an 11 v 11 football match, World of Soccer Online makes it a surprisingly accessible experience.  This is thanks mainly to the Sensible Soccer-esque top-down view and the simplistic control style, but the player-base also seems pretty competent.  There are no stats or pre-defined positions for your characters, but players generally tend to gravitate to certain positions, (hopefully) working cohesively as a team.

World of Soccer Online’s easily accessible gameplay and 11 vs 11 online gameplay makes for a fun multiplayer sporting experience.  Just remember there’s no ‘I’ in ‘team’!

Relic Hunters Zero is a charming sci-fi shooter from the creators of Chroma Squad, Knights of Pen & Paper and Dungeonland, in which you shoot adorable space animals across 12 action packed levels, unlocking relics, characters and weapons.

The main game is a 12 level adventure mode, that see’s you battling space animals, collecting loot, and attempting to defeat the evil Ducan Commander.  A Full playthrough should take 2-3 hours, but there’s plenty of replayability due to the various unlockable characters, and the randomly generated enemy and item placement on each level.  As well as adventure mode, Relic Hunters Zero also features an Endless Mode with unique weapons and economy.

The combat is fast, fluid and fun, and playable in single or local Co-Op - all accompanied by an excellent funky soundtrack by Goto80.  The icing on the cake is that Relic Hunters Zero as well as being 100% free with no microtransactions, the source code is freely available to all – encouraging modders to see what they can create.  Fast, fun, relic hunting action with bags of character.

Viridi is a relaxing gardening experience in which you nurture your very own virtual pot plants and watch them grow in real time.

There are no shortcuts in Viridi (though singing to them may help a little), you simply plant, water and wait. It’s meant to be left open in a second window while you work, or checked in on now and again for a bit of meditative gardening.

Your little collection of plants take a long time to grow, but that’s the whole point.  In a world where so many games are keen to give you everything as soon as possible, Viridi slows things down to a crawl, making for a wonderfully relaxing experience as you tend to your plants and watch them slowly grow.

Fingerbones is a short and tense narrative-based horror with some disturbing subject matter.

In the game you enter a bunker that’s been abandoned for years.  As you explore you come across scattered notes which allude to the inhuman things that have happened within the confines of this fall out shelter, as well as giving you hints at passwords for opening doors.

This isn’t a horror story with jump scares and freaky monsters, it’s far more of a mature, creepy and disturbing look at what human beings are capable of.  The divisive subject matter may offend those who are easily triggered, but those that can handle the subject matter will find a dark and well crafted first person horror they won’t soon forget.

Rise Of Incarnates is a great looking new fighting game from Bandai Namco (famed for the Tekken and SoulCalibur franchises) in which players take control if Incarnates with mythical powers and beat the crap out of each other in real-world cityscapes.

The back-story is a typically silly, but entertaining affair, and fittingly, some of it can be read in comic book for on the main website.  The Incarnates are humans who have been gifted mythical powers by meteorites that fell from the sky, after that it goes a bit X-Men, with regular humans fearing them and Incarnates fighting among themselves.  There’s also a mysterious voice that has spoken to the Incarnates, delivering a cryptic message “To avoid certain destruction, you must defeat the Sovereign of this era.”

With their own interpretations and reasons for fighting, the incarnates enter the fray.  This means a multitude of super-powered characters beating each other up in 2 vs. 2 matches across some beautifully rendered and half-destroyed real world locations.  The diverse character types are promised to have unique skills and powers and appeal to a variety of play-styles while accommodating expansive team dynamics and strategy in the 3D Battle Arenas.

Rise of Incarnates certainly looks very impressive, if the gameplay matches the visuals, this could be a super-human smackdown of epic proportions.
