Corpseburg is a fun zombie survival sim that uses Google Maps to allow you to try and survive a zombie apocalypse in your home town!

You are a lone survivor in a zombie apocalypse and must explore, scavenge, fight and fortify defenses against the ever present threat of the shambling undead.  The gameplay itself is a fairly simple, but fun survival game in which you must try to find weapons, food and medicine during the day, then fortify your position before resting up each night.

What makes Corpseburg stand out is it’s clever use of Google Maps that allows you to play anywhere in the world – including your own neighbourhood.  This also means that the businesses and buildings that you loot are the actual real life building – so you break into your local pharmacy or school and ransack the them.  It’s a nice touch that makes surviving the zombie apocalypse that little bit more personal!

Infinity Inc. is a fun puzzle play former in which you use a Nuclear Cloning Gun to create clones of yourself, co-operating with them and and sacrificing them as you make your escape from a research facility.

Infinity Inc. not only impresses with it’s fun cloning gameplay, the pixel art visuals are excellent (particularly your characters adorable crawling animation) and the audio is superb – definitely best played with the volume up while you splatter innocent clone blood across the floors!

Trivius is a great online multiplayer quiz game, with a wide range of topics, chatrooms, achievements and (most importantly) a sizeable user base so there’s always someone to play against.

Stick Together is a silly QWOP-like platforming adventure in which you control each of your characters sticky limbs independently as they attempt climb increasingly complex obstacles.

Playable with one to four players on gamepads or mobile devices, you must guide your character across obstacles and hazards to the exit.  Each of the color coded arms are mapped to a controller face button, so you just press that button then use the left analogue stick to move that appendage.  Releasing the face button will stick the corresponding hand or foot to whatever it is touching – allowing you to climb walls like Spiderman (though far less graceful!)  This is fairly hard in single player but absolute chaos in multiplayer, leading to much shouting and heated ‘discussion’.

The Stick Together Alpha Demo features seven levels of limb flopping hilarity, over which you’ll be constantly surprised by the ability of your little stickman.  He may not be the most graceful of movers, but he sure can climb!

It’s Cold Out Here is a short, strange and surreal little adventure with flashes of graphical violence, in which you search for sections of stovepipe to heat up your teddy bear.

Finding these sections of stovepipe is fairly easy, with the game taking less than 10 minutes to complete, but the sights you see along the way are downright bizarre.  As you explore the beautifully crafted pixel art world, you’ll meet a variety of odd characters and have visions of death and murder.

It’s a surreal and strangely beautiful little adventure, with excellent pixel art visuals and audio.  It may be cold out here, it’s a fun adventure full of charm and warmth (even with the death and murder!)

Slide, Crash, Bounce is a very silly driving game that’s comparable to driving a motorbike with no tyres across an ice rink full of banana skins.

After choosing between race mode or destruction mode and picking from a selection of vehicles - from forklift trucks to ice cream vans - you set out to wreak havoc on the city.  Destruction mode has you smashing into cars and scenery for points, while race mode sees you attempting to reach checkpoints before the timer elapses - but the way the vehicles handle you’ll be lucky to reach the first one!

All the vehicles in Slide, Crash, Bounce have little to no traction, making them near-impossible to control as they skid around the city bashing into anything foolish enough to get in their way.  It’s a very silly game full of lots of lovely chaotic destruction and sliding mayhem.  Smashing stuff.

Fingerboy is a charming hand drawn puzzle game that sees you trying to light up the walkways (or crawlways) of a house to allow a little boy to get to safety.

Each beautifully hand-drawn room is a self contained puzzle that’s shrouded in darkness, in which you must activate, move or uncover light sources to create a path for little Noony (the young boy).  The current build is pretty short, comprising of a handful of rooms to traverse, but it’s a unique and enjoyable experience, full of character and inventive light-based puzzle design.  Well worth shining a light on.

Bounceball is a simple, fun and addictive little game that plays a little like a horizontal version of Breakout, with you moving a ball ever onwards along a conveyor belt, breaking blocks as you go.

Controls are simple, just press spacebar (or tap the screen) to move your ball forwards, bouncing on blocks and taking care not to fall through the gaps.  What makes things interesting are the special blocks and power-ups.  Gold blocks grant you extra points, red and white blocks make you bounce higher (your bounce slowly decreases over time), while ’?’ blocks grant you random (and often distracting) power-ups - from first person view to a de-rezzed 8-bit visual filter.

With it’s novel take on the age-old Breakout formula, Bounceball is a blast - a simple premise, expertly done, that will have you block bouncing your way to a coveted high score.

Kings road is a nice looking medieval dungeon crawler with loot drops, drop-in multiplayer and 3 different playable classes.  You’re tasked with saving a world shrouded in darkness by defeating the foul villains and creatures who plague this once-peaceful land.

It’s a nice little game and the free to play mechanics aren’t imposing, as everything that can be bought with virtual currency can also be won through gameplay.

This game actually looks really interesting but I have one quibble.

WHAT IS WITH THE OBSESSION FOR GAMES TO BE BROWSER BASED!?

I am giving this a try and ya know what?  Its fun!  You can class change in town so you are never locked into your choice, you earn the “cash shop” currency through play, and the only thing the cash shop seems to be for is bag expansions (Which is needed) and speeding things up such as using weapons you are not high enough to use yet.

And for a browser game its very nice.

Glad you like it man. It’s amazing what they can do with browser based games nowadays. We’re so used to browser games being a bit crap that it’s hard to believe that games like Warface, Card Hunter or SuperHot can run on internet explorer!
