You’ll be able to design chassis, engines, transmissions, and bodies.  Then build factories and set production lines, set up branches to distribute vehicles to dealerships.  You’ll also handle marketing and racing budgets and hire lobbyists to get juicy government contracts.  While making sure your products are targeted at the correct demographics and are the right price.

It’s a deep and comprehensive sim, that really can make you feel like you’re the next Henry Ford.

XenoRaptor is a beautiful, fast paced, top down shooter with co-op play and a fantastic array of fully customisable weapons that’s currently on Steam Greenlight.

The gameplay is frantic, fast paced and fun, with 44 different enemy types, 13 Boss fights, visually stunning weaponry, explosions and backdrops.  As well as the single player campaign (with online scoreboards), you can also play 8 player co-op or 16 player deathmatches, for a great fix of multiplayer carnage.

What makes this game truly special though, are the customisation options.  You can build and paint your own ship to make it unique, then kit it out with a your own custom built weapons.  There are hundreds of different weapons you can make by combining various components, including radioactive chainguns, tesla blasters, rocket propelled chainsaws and teleporting attack bears.

XenoRaptor is fantastic fun, it’s a well crafted top down space shooter, with an infusion of Dead Rising style, crazy weapon building.  Highly Recommended.

Below Kyrll is an online player-built platform game currently on Steam Greenlight.

The game plays well as a platformer, solid platforming and fighting mechanics, races, XP, upgrades and puzzles making the game a joy to play.

The biggest draw however, are the online aspects of the game, with players being able to create stories and areas of their own, then uploading them for others to play and rate.  You’re then able to explore these worlds with other players that you can chat or scribble with.   Creations are then be ranked by other players, granting the builders fame, trophies and epic items.

It’s a great gaming experience, that combines aspects of Little Big Planet and Terraria, to make a truly fun global crowdforged platform game.

Little Space Adventure is a fun 2D Arcade side-scrolling shooter from Bluerift.  Visually it’s still a little basic, but the gameplay is fun, there’s a nice assortment of upgrades and a variety of enemies to blast.  

If you’re into side-scrolling shooters, it’s worth checking out, as it can become rather addictive as you chase after that elusive high score!

The Consuming Shadow is a procedurally-generated horror adventure game with a Lovecraftian theme and gameplay inspired by FTL: Faster Than Light, Eternal Darkness, and the board game Arkham Horror.

The game is played from a 2D, side on perspective, with characters being depicted through their silhouettes, making the game feel like you’re playing through a graphic novel.  The game features procedurally generated dungeons to explore and fight your way through, roguelike perma-death mechanics, random events, upgrades, sanity mechanics and an interesting storyline.

Try not to go mad and shoot yourself.  This is important!

Yargis is a top down space shooter, in a similar vein as geometry wars, but with slightly slower paced, more tactical gameplay and more advanced physics models, that’s currently on Steam Greenlight.

The game features a large array of customisation options for your ship, allowing you to make it truly unique.  There’s also a level editor, entertaining multiplayer modes, unlockable upgrades, and an interesting story.

Yargis has had a successful Kickstarter campaign, and is currently on Steam Greenlight.  You can download the Alpha for free, or purchase immediate Beta access from their homepage.

Haunted Memories is a survival horror game set in a creepy, haunted dream world.  The game looks visually stunning, and combined with the unsettling soundtrack, it really builds a tense atmosphere.

On your journey through the world you’ll meet others who are trapped there too, and choose to help them, or condemn them to eternal dreaming.  You’ll also discover why you’re in this nightmare, and choose to stay in the darkness, or live and lead to the light.  

The game features a combination of puzzle and action elements that force you to think, run, feel and kill to survive the nightmare.  Haunted Memories will be released as six separate episodes, the first of which is available now through Steam Early Access.

Mad Dan is a humorous Tower Defence game with a nice looking 3D, cartoony art style coming to iOS.  

Your character (Mad Dan) has the ability to control objects with his mind and use power-ups to stop the nicely animated blocky hordes from reaching their goal.  

With solid gameplay mechanics, well animated and fun cut-scenes, and a unique visual style, Made Dan is a great new take on the Tower Defence genre.
