WAKFU is an isometric open-world turn-based MMO set in the popular DOFUS universe, where decisions really matter and players work together to restore the world and defeat the most insidious creatures in the entire World of Twelve.

Players craft their own adventure in WAKFU and make decisions that have far-reaching consequences.  A unique political system allows players to create laws and initiate conflicts, shaping the environment with game-altering effects.  Choices also have a dramatic effect on the living ecosystem of WAKFU - if too many animals are killed without a chance to reproduce, or too many plants harvested without resowing, they’ll disappear forever.

It’s a great looking game, with anime-style character design and well crafted animation.  This charming graphical style and the deep turn based combat make for a that’s game pleasantly reminiscent of the Disgaea series, but with a huge open world, complete with it’s own ecosystems and lot’s massively multiplayer online fun.

RWBY: Grim Eclipse is a fan-made game from game dev Jordan Scott (based on the RWBY series made by Rooster Teeth) that’s impressed Rooster Teeth so much that they’ve officially started development on a full game, and hired Jordan to work on it.

The game is a third person survival-based action role-playing game that was developed over 5 months by Jordan - a sort of a playable version of the ‘Red’ Trailer.  It’s an amazing fan-made game, full of fast paced and fluid combat, and well deserving of a full game. There is no release date on the finished game yet, but seeing how it’s the Rooster Teeth’s first game, they’ll probably be keen to take their time.

Pale Blue is a stylish Anime-style 2D side-scrolling action and stealth adventure game where instead of playing a hero, you play as Ellen - a normal girl who has been turned into a monster and succumbed to evil.

Ellen is assigned to various missions by the sinister COCOON organization which turned her into a monster.  She’ll fight superheroes and organisations from around the world, spreading a reign of terror.  You will take control of Ellen’s story as the human being we know and follow her path as she fades away to evolve into the evil terror known simply as Pale Blue.

Gameplay is inspired by an eclectic mixture of games, including MegamanPrince of PersiaSplinter Cell classic and Rampage.  It features dungeons with hack and slash gameplay where you’re given freedom to roam the area, stealth stages, NPC interactions and Tower defence elements.

The Prototype is VERY early in development, so the fighting is fairly basic and doesn’t feel as fluid as it should be, but it certainly shows potential.  The visuals are impressive, with some great looking anime style-animation, and the ‘evil’ focused storyline certainly sounds intriguing.
