No longer must your Pokémon be squashed into 2 dimensions! Pokémon 3D is a fan-made recreation of the old Pokémon games Gold/Silver by Nintendo/GameFreak.

You can do everything that you could do in the original games, catch, train and fight Pokémon, collect items and explore towns in 3D. You can even play with a friend in LAN co-op.

It’s a fun game that lovingly recreates the feeling of the original games, but adds an extra dimension. Pokémon 3D is currently under development and features are being added frequently.

Starship Corporation is a starship management strategy game with similarities to FTL, but more in-depth, with loads more customisation options. Build spaceships and planetary installations with multiple decks, choosing from (currently) 50 Room types in 6 categories.

Completed ships are then tested in a series of missions, testing the crews reaction to emergencies and the ships combat capabilities. The success of these missions determines the ships rating, important for a good price on the market or the ships performance in your own fleet. It’s a nice game, with some great ideas and a lot of depth, recently Greenlit on Steam.

0 A.D. is an RTS game that puts you in charge of an ancient civilization through the time period of 500 B.C. to 500 A.D. Gather resources, build your city, raise a military force and dominate your enemies in this great looking game. As well as being great fun to play, the game strives for historical accuracy, using authentic building designs, technology, unit formations and naval warfare.

The game is playable on Windows PC, Linux and Mac, and will be completely free to play, No “freemium” model, no in-game advertising, no catch.

Blood & Jade is a new MMORPG from R2Games set in ancient China. Level up characters using Chi, craft items/weapons, join guilds, find legendary equipment, take part in epic quests and recruit Goddesses to fight on your side as you progress through the game. Blood & Jade also features a reward system for taking part in the Alpha, with participants earning rewards for every day they log in.

When a man has his body stolen he typically has one of two reactions; his head either dies, or sometimes it sets out on an adventure as a disembodied head, hellbent on revenge. Sometimes it doesn’t but in Amygdala it does.

Amygdala is a 2D platformer for PC and Android that has a great visual style, good platforming mechanics, and a nice sense of humour. Traverse the levels with your disembodied head, shoot enemies, poop bricks, kill wizards and make a magic meat body to replace the one you’ve had stolen. This game may not be highbrow, but it’s definitely fun!

Tainted Fate is a PC and Mac first person horror adventure game played with two characters in two different timelines, exploring a desolate island. One playable character is a prisoner sentenced to live out the rest of his life on the island in the 1930′s. The other is an amateur paranormal investigator shooting the film of her life on that very same island in 2012.

It’s still early in development, but It’s shaping up to be a great looking, creepy, horror game with some very interesting ideas.

C-Wars is a well crafted pixel-art game that has already been Greenlit on Steam and has run a very successful Kickstarter campaign. It’s set in a cyberpunk apocalyptic world, with an original real-time combat system that combine RTS, RPG and fighting game mechanics. It’s a great, fun little game with lots of character and style.

The Alpha is playable on PC, Mac and Linux at the moment, with plans to release the game on WiiU, PS Vita, 3DS, iOS and Android too.

Black Ice is a Hack and Shoot – that is, it’s a hack and slash RPG about hacking that utilises first person shooter controls. It’s like Borderlands/Diablo meets Tron, where your goal is to find and hack the biggest server of them all to release an imprisoned AI. It features fully randomized loot, a levelling system, minions and more.

When you start the game, you are surrounded by a variety of relatively easy to hack coloured servers, but stray further afield and things can get much tougher. Walk up to a Server and right click to start Hacking and a load of nasty minions will spill out of it and start attacking you. Complete the hack to earn XP and collect some lovely loot to aid your future Hacking attempts. It’s an addictive little game with a great art style, and well worth a try.

Project: Gorgon is a 3D fantasy MMORPG for PC & Mac that freely mixes ideas from older MMOs, newer MMOs, and a whole bunch of new ideas never before seen in any MMO. It’s like Asheron’s Call crossed with EverQuest crossed with the emergent gameplay of NetHack.

Some of the innovative ideas that set this MMO apart are; player werewolves that are subject to the real-life lunar cycle, player-created treasure hunts, permanent curses, secret languages and programmable battle Golems.

There are also a lot of optional ways to play, such as killing only non-sentient creatures, or vow to protect nature and only kill sentient creatures, become a vegetarian, or play using a hardcore death penalty.

Mini Combat is a cartoony First Person Shooter. Choose a side, Red or Blue and kill the opposite team! It’s still very early in development so things, including the name, art assets and everything else will/can change. It features 6 different character classes and team-deathmatch, deathmatch and zombies game modes.
