Dark Souls 3 is already looking fantastic, with gorgeous current gen visuals, and a slightly faster combat style, taking some cues from Bloodborne (but shields will definitely be present).

The Dark Souls 3 Beta test is on PS4 only, but will be available worldwide, so sign up if you’re brave enough to test From Software’s latest masochistic masterpiece!

Drawn To Death is a ridiculously over the top arena shooter from David Jaffe (of Twisted Metal/God of War fame) and his team, that takes place inside the notebook of a teenage kid, in which his all of their sketches and doodles have come to life and want to kill each other.

The art style in Drawn to Death is fantastic – the kid who has created this doodled world in his notebook is obviously a talented artist (and possibly a little unhinged). It’s a mesmerising world full of giant monsters, vibrant characters, crazy battlegrounds and a truck load of violence. The games signature 4 player battles are fast paced and fun affairs, with plenty of verticality and over the top weaponry – from guitar battle axes to fire breathing dragons.

With their fun mix of fantasy and uber-violence, these demented doodles look set to offer plenty of chaotic multiplayer action – a beautiful symphony of ink, paper and blood.

Street Fighter V Beta sign ups are now open on PS4! During an eventful and surprising (Shenmue 3!!!) E3 presentation, Sony showed off Capcom’s brand new fighter coming to PS4 and PC in 2016, with PS4 Beta testers able to get their hands on it next month.

The Street Fighter V E3 trailer really impresses with gorgeous visuals and fluid gameplay – Ryu and co. really have never looked so good. Six characters have been confirmed so far – the recently announced Cammy and Birdie join Ryu, M. Bison, Nash and Chun Li – but Capcom will no doubt roll out a steady trickle of additions to the roster over the coming months.

Street Fighter V will be coming to PC too and will have a Beta some time this Fall, but you’ll have to pre-order the game on Steam for the privilege. It’s a fair bet that Super, Ultra and Super-Dooper iterations will be rolled out over the years to come, but as it stands Street Fighter V is poised to be the undefeated champion of the current generation of fighters. N++, the latest fast paced, speed-run orientated precision platformer in the N series, is coming to PS4, along with a level editor, level sharing capabilities and a wide range of improvements.

N++ is the third in the series of N games, and plans to up the ante, with more color, more enemies, more variety, deathmatches, co-op and races, as well as level editing and level sharing abilities. To be in with a chance of getting access to N++ weeks before everyone else, and helping the devs test the level sharing capabilities, you simply have to sign up and answer a few quiz questions about the N games.

The Beta will take place on the PS4 and is open to players who have a North American Playstation Network Account, but not region locked, so ardent fans can create a US account and still sign up for the Beta (there are plenty of guides about how to do this on the net.)

Guns Up! is a great looking new action strategy game coming to PS4, PS3 and Vita in which you play a General, deploying units and tactical strikes in a fight for superiority over the battlefield.

To be victorious you’ll have to manage your resources and use superior strategy and you command Snipers, RPG units, heavy machine gunners, armored vehicles and airstrikes across the battlefield.

Although this is this studios first game, they do have some impressive pedigree, having previously assisted in the development of inFAMOUS and League of Legends.

It’s a great looking game, with a gorgeous hand drawn animation style and bombastic explosions. War may be hell, but Guns Up! makes it look heavenly.

Rocket League is an impressive multiplayer-focused physics-based vehicle sports game, featuring fast paced arena based gameplay where you use rocket powered cars to play football (or soc-car).

It’s the spiritual successor to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, a popular release on the PS3. Rocket League ramps up the excitement and fun with shiny new visuals, better net code, car customisation, and faster gameplay.

It’s a good looking game, in which players take control of a variety of rocket powered cars, soaring through the air and preform saves, fun tricks, and score goals against rival teams. Whether you call it soc-car or car ball, It looks set to be a fun mix of balls and acrobatic motorsports.

The Tomorrow Children is an intriguing new PS4 exclusive from the makers of the PixelJunk games, with Minecraft-style collaborative building, social economics and a story based on an alternate future where an experiment in 1960′s Russia had catastrophic effects.

It’s a good looking game, and a remarkable change of direction from the guys that brought you all those cool 2D PixelJunk games. In this strange future, where all human minds have been melded into one consciousness, you (and others who you team up with in multiplayer) play a ‘projection clone’ and must venture into ‘The Void’ to reclaim the human race and restore it to its former glory.

It’s an interesting mix of communism, clones, crafting and camaraderie, and luckily you don’t have to wait until tomorrow to sign up for the Alpha – you can sign up for The Tomorrow Children Today!

Sign Up for the Alpha (PS4)

You can now sign up for Evolve’s second Alpha test, dubbed the ‘Big Alpha’ and open to PS4, Xbox One and PC owners worldwide.

For those unaware, Evolve is Turtle Rock Studios (creators of Left 4 Dead) awesome looking asymmetric multiplayer game which pits 4 players against one deadly player controlled monster. It has a large emphasis on playing to your class, with players having to work as a team if they’re to stand a chance against the monster. The player-controlled monster is powerful but can’t just go for a full frontal assault, especially at the beginning of a match before the monster has had a chance to evolve into a fully powered ass-kicking beast.

Obviously most players will want to play as the monster (of which there will be multiple to choose from), but the humans seem fun to play as too, and a well coordinated team will have a good chance of slaying the beast.
