Monkey King Online is a free-to-play MMORPG inspired by the Chinese epic Journey to the West. Players choose one of four ancient heroes, including the rebellious Monkey King himself, and embark on a quest to bring peace to a broken world.

Real-time combat is enhanced by the ability to ’Invoke the Imortals’ during battle, turning your character into a powerful deity.  Monkey King Online can be enjoyed solo, but features a host of robust multiplayer modes, including team dungeons, PvP combat, competitive Arena play, and territorial Guild versus Guild battles.

It’s a good looking game with a rather silly storyline, vibrant characters and the interesting ability to transform into powerful deities during battle.  New deities (immortals) are added each month, so should help to keep the gameplay fresh.

Skyhill is a stylish turn roguelike point n click turn based survival game about staying alive when there is no reason to.

You are a resident of Skyhill hotel who survived a biological catastrophe. Your goal is to get out of your penthouse in search of other people and salvation. But all elevators in the building are off and floors are flooded with hazards.

The game features an interesting mix of gameplay mechanics, with point and click adventure style puzzle solving, turn based combat, scavenging, crafting and survival tropes.  You also have to plan your movements well, as every move uses up some of your energy, the limited resources mean starvation is a constant threat.  Although not present in the Alpha Demo, the full version also promises a twisted plotline, multiple characters and procedurally generated level design.

Invertium is a dark sci-fi platformer with physics-based mechanics that immerses you in a world of challenging gravity, motion and time puzzles.

In this beautifully animated puzzle/platformer you have the ability to control gravitystop time andslow physical forces.  These powers are used to solve a variety of physics based puzzles that require logic and fast reaction speeds.  The ability to alter gravity through four axis is particularly fun, allowing you to walk up walls or ’fall’ up to the top of a building.

It’s a very clever and well crafted game that challenges your brain as much as your reflexes.

Hyper Gauntlet is a first person adrenaline fueled, high-speed obstacle game where good twitch reactions are required to be in with a chance of getting a high score.

The game gives out the great feeling of speed (and a little bit of panic) as you hurtle through the endless corridor.  Every time you dodge an obstacle your score increases, but at the same time your speed increases too.  There is a slow-mo effect that will help you in tight situations, but you’ll still need your wits about you to stand a chance of surviving for any real amount of time.

It’s a fun game that will certainly test your reflexes as it reaches some breakneck speeds, it also features an excellent soundtrack and an addictive ’one more go’ style of gameplay.

Aerobat is a ridiculously fast arcade shooter where you dodge incoming enemies and fly as close to the ground as possible to build up speed, then flip up into the sky to take out your enemies.   Boosting longer means more speed, which means more jump height, which means higher combo, which means way more points

Control is all done through the mouse which works very well, and gameplay is very fast, testing your reflexes to the limit.  It’s an innovative and adrenaline filled arcade shoot-em-up with a unique control scheme and addictive gameplay.

Zenzizenzic is far more than a word that someone made up to cheat at Scrabble, it’s also a skilful Twin-stick shooter full of intricate bullet patterns and a mesmerising minimalistic beauty.  Best played with a 360 control pad, you can play with up to 2 players, weave through intricate bullet patterns, dodge and shoot enemies with a variety of weapons to achieve the best high score and beat various challenges.

Zenzizenzic can be favourably compared to Geometry Wars, with it’s gorgeous minimal art style, high difficulty and precise gameplay.  Zenzizenzic is now on Steam Greenlight and Kickstarter with a goal of just €2,000.  We’d highly recommend giving it a go, it’s so damn pretty!

GoD Factory: Wingman is a 4v4 competitive X-Wing style space combat game from Bandai NamcoandNine Dots Studios, where four intergalactic species fight against each other using gunships, with a goal to destroy the enemy’s carrier ship while defending your own.

It features Oculus Rift and joystick support, beautiful graphics, dozens of special abilities and over a thousand different gunship parts to customise your ships with.

Teamwork is essential in GoD Factory, only squads that work together will be successful.  Another interesting feature is that you can bring two gunships to each match, while one is out to fight, the other one is docked, repairing its shield over time.  This allows for both versatility and deeper resource management. Not only that, but the player can ask other players to borrow his team-mates gunships.

It’s a great looking game, with lush graphics, exciting space-based dogfights and a focus on team work.  In space no-one can hear you scream – except from your team-mates.

Corridors Of Uncertainty is procedurally generated rogue-like with fully destructible maps, a wide array of weaponry and plenty of violence.  The Pre-Alpha gives you one life to shoot, kill and demolish your way to the end of the levels, attempting to get as high a score as possible.

The weaponry is great fun to play around with, from lightsabers to rocket launchers, they all pack a punch.  You can use 4 different special powers too (focus, swift, fireball, and flash), they have useful effects, such as slowing down time or stunning enemies, but the most useful by far is fireball.  As well as rocket launchers and explosive containers, Fireball allows you to blow up walls and terrain.  This means that instead of searching for a key-card for a door, you can just blow your way around the door (you can still search for key-cards if you want, but this is way more fun).

Corridors Of Uncertainty can also be played in 2 player local co-op, with one player on mouse and keyboards and the other on a 360 controller.  It’s a great game, gameplay is fast, fun and brutal, with Hotline Miami-Style violence, field of view mechanics, special powers, destructible terrain and lightsabers.  Corridors of Carnage.
