S.W.A.G (Super Wreckless Awesome Gangsta) is a rhythmic first person shooter set in the 90’s where you roam dangerous streets and knock-out your enemy rappers with a finely timed sound blast from your golden boombox.

Gameplay is pretty basic at the moment, but it is still very early in development.  It’s a fun (and tough) game for what it is though, with different enemy types that approach you in different ways and a cool retro visual style.  As the game is developed, we’d love to see other music to blast enemies from and some more gameplay element features.

Like Harmonix’s Chroma, S.W.A.G. looks set to offer up some fun rhythm-based FPS action, only one of the games features a golden boombox gun though!

Radical Squad: Explosive Locomotive is a fast paced puzzle adventure game that tasks you with disarming 5 bombs on a moving train under tight time constraints.

Bombs are disarmed in a variety of ways, all requiring experimentation, camera panning to spot critical objects, various different tools, brainpower, dexterity and a little luck.  It’s a tense game, and it’s fun trying to work out the various ways to diffuse the bombs, with great satisfaction to be had from stopping a timer with seconds to spare.

Unfortunately development has halted on Radical Squad: Explosive Locomotivewhich is a real shame.  With a little work on the control scheme, Radical Squad would make a great basis for a series of bomb disposal games, either on mobile devices or PCs.  It’s a tense piece of puzzle action where you’ll have to think fast if you don’t want to go out with a bang.

Radial G: Racing Revolved is essentially an extremely fast first person F-Zero, set on tubular tracks, with high-end graphics and Oculus Rift Support -  a high-octane, futuristic arcade racer for the VR generation.

Would be Captain Falcon’s will be able to strap themselves into the cockpit of a large selection of futuristic antigravity racers and race against 32 opponents (Human & AI controlled), all in glorious 1080p at 60fps.  The feeling of speed is fantastic as you roar along the twisty, tubular tracks, recalling fond memories of F-Zero 64 and F-Zero GX.  There is the option to switch to an extrenal view of the vehicle, but first person mode is where the action is.

You can play the Single player Alpha Demo now (a multiplayer demo is in the works), either with a standard screen or with the Oculus Rift headset.  Be warned though, the rift version may melt your eyes!

Cloudfall is a charming explorative puzzle game that forgoes handholding, allowing you to freely roam, experiment and unlock the enviromnments hidden secrets.

It’s a wonderfully relaxing experience exploring the unique world of cloudfall, with no timers and no pressure - In Cloudfall you are safe, nothing can harm you.  You just explore and experiment with the worlds unique environment at your own pace, discovering and unlocking new powers.

The game was greated for rpgmakerweb’s 2014 indie game maker contest, and is still early in development so a lot of the artwork is just a placeholder, but already it’s a good looking game.  With a world full of experimentarion and discovery, it feels a little like a floating Fez at times, which it no bad thing.

In FranknJohn you use your head (literally), it’s a a head-swinging roguelike smash em'up with fast paced gameplay and the ability to change your abilities by equiping various different heads and body parts.

FranknJohn is a reanimated child with the body of Frank and the head of John, connected by a chain that he can swing around and smash into enemies.  Being a reanimated corpse has it’s benefits, mainly that you can swap body parts to customize your stats and equip dozens of different skullcaps which can alter the gameplay drastically.

The fast paced action orientated gameplay is inspired by SNES classics like Super Smash TV and Zombies Ate My Neighbours, with aspects taken from recent games like Dark Souls and The Binding of Isaac.  Graphically the game is wonderful, full of snazzy effects, vibrant colours and Tim Burton-esque character design, while the Soundtrack is being composed by FTL’s Ben Prunty.

With it’s randomly genetrated level design and a vast array of swappable skullcaps, FranknJohn looks set to offer plenty of variety and replayability.  The challenge arena does a good job of demonstrating the excellent fast-paced, head-swinging gameplay - FranknJohn may be a reanimated corpse, but there’s plenty of life in this game.

Due Process an innovative online tactical shooter inspired by games like the original SWAT and Rainbow Six, where there is far more importance in planning the job than actual gunplay.

Gameplay is team based, with one team one team attacking and the other defending.  Before each round starts, players map out a plan, sketching on a top down blueprint (John Madden-style), coordinating the perfect assault or defense using tools like riot shields, wall explosives, and night vision goggles to decisively take out their opponents.  When the round then starts, it reverts to an FPS viewpoint with charmingly rendered low poly characters and the siege begins.  FPS skills are useful, but ultimately it’s the team with the best plan and teamwork that will win.

It’s an excellent concept and really emphasises the ‘tactical’ in ‘tactical shooter’.  The game is won and lost in the planning phase, so please don’t spend all your time drawing a cock and balls on the blueprint.  (Although obviously it’s the first thing we’d do!)

Frog Sord is a charming pixel art platformer that handles wonderfully, with your little frog capable of some remarkable feats of precision platforming.

In Frog Sord you control a frog with a very large sword, his only other remarkable attribute is an ability to perform an air dash in any direction.  While other platformers may rely on accessories, upgrades and other gimmicks to hold the players attention, Frog Sord lets the precision platforming and clever level design do the talking.  Starting off easily, the difficulty soon ramps up to Super Meat Boy levels.  Your little frog will die a lot, but it always seems fair, and there’s always the feeling that you’ll manage it next time.

Unfortunately development on the game has been halted due to a dispute around ownership of the IP.  It’s a shame as it really could of been something special.  The Devs are currently working on a new game which uses some of the same mechanics though, you can follow it’s development through their TIG Page.
