ArcheAge is a sandbox theme park (or sand park) MMORPG that aims to be freed from predefined paths and progression.

The level of freedom allowed to players is certainly impressive, as you are able to set forth on whatever path you desire. Fight, gather, craft, transport, trade, build, sail, or become a pirate, in this player driven economy the choice is yours.

You can build massive castles and lay claim to land, band together to protect your fortune in epic siege battles and naval combat or live the life of an outlaw, prying glory and coin from foes left in your wake and pirating trade ships on the open seas.

Gatherers, crafters, and traders can master diverse skills to craft goods and homes, galleons and castles. Transport and trade materials across the realm, braving danger and piracy to support your allies in wars that will change the fate of the world.

ArcheAge is due for release on the 16th of September, but you can sample it early during the Open Beta test, starting today until the 8th.

Divine Souls is a fast paced real-time action RPG with an extensive combat combo system, PvE dungeon instances, 4 unique classes, lots of loot and a MOBA-Style PvP battle Arena.

In combat the combo system is easy to pick up and allows for some pretty spectacular fights. Completing dungeons (of various modes) will earn you XP and loot, which allow you to level up and customise your character. You’re able to form parties with friends to tackle the dungeons or enter the fun MOBA-Style battle arena for some fast paced PvP action.

While Divine Souls isn’t exactly spectacular in the graphical department, the combo combat system is fun, with no need to wait for cooldown timers, making for combat that’s mentally and visually engaging.

Rising Generals is a PvP oriented strategy MMO with a Modern Warfare setting, designed from the ground up to allow cross-platform play between iOS, Android and home computers.

Rising Generals is designed for short, but intense gaming sessions with a high focus on action. With more than 20 different units, including heavy tanks, infantry, helicopters and warplanes you’ll have plenty of options available to you. Unlockable technologies as well as officers and generals will also provide helpful bonuses and perks.

The Rising Generals game worlds will have space for up to 40 thousand players who can band together into Battle Groups and fight for dominance. Real-time 3D animations give each battle a unique feeling and will also provide valuable information about the course of the battle. It’s a strategy MMO that plans to offer fun and exciting battles which are just as fun when played from a home computer as from a mobile device.

WAKFU is an isometric open-world turn-based MMO set in the popular DOFUS universe, where decisions really matter and players work together to restore the world and defeat the most insidious creatures in the entire World of Twelve.

Planet Explorers is an impressive open world voxel based sandbox adventure RPG set on a distant planet, that allows players to alter the terrain, customize their character, combine and create weapons, vehicles, and buildings and fight massive enemy creatures.

It’s the year 2287, and you and a bunch of other survivors have crash-landed on the planet Maria, an unforgiving land filled with deadly creatures. Now the survivors must explore, gather, build, create, fight, and ultimately, conquer the land.

Planet Explorers features a single player story line as well as random single and multiplayer adventure maps, with a mission system that features NPCs giving the player goals to achieve to advance the storyline. It can be played from 3rd and 1st person perspectives, with players will be able to customize their character, create weapons, vehicles, and buildings and battle multitudes of enemies of varying intelligence and defend the remnants of the colonists.

It’s a great looking game with an impressive scope, an interesting Sci-Fi setting, a plenty of crafting options, epic battles and a huge planet for you to explore and ultimately conquer.

Xenovoid is a fun cross-platform massively multiplayer 4x strategy game where you’ll travel the universe, conquer new planets, destroy your enemies, and win fame and glory.

The game promises a massive persistent universe with thousands of players, no subscriptions and no pay to win, as well as cross platform play between PCs and mobile devices. You’ll be able to explore the universe, research new tech trade, and build your empire, building fighters and battleships to eviscerate the opposition.

Each universe has thousands of planets to scout and galaxies have strategic space stations where you can buy or sell trade goods. Travel in your personal ship, trading in precious cargo, or find the perfect planets to conquer. You’ll colonize new planets and expand the industrial base of ones you already own.

Specialized research supports the growth of your empire and Alliances can ensure success. Spend the resources you gather from your planets to build defenses, ships, ground troops, improve infrastructure, or to research new technology. Then destroy your opponents through both space and ground combat, sending fleets to attack them and steal their resources.

Xenovoid is an impressive game, with plenty of scope and a huge persistent universe for you to explore. Strategy games do’t get much more massive than this.

Velvet Sundown is a very different type of role-playing game, a game where you actually take on the role of the character - a guest on a luxury yacht - with you and four other players building a 45 minute long story.
Each time you play Velvet Sundown you’ll be set up with a new identity for you to embody, interacting and chatting with other players, using charm and charisma to convince other players to follow your suggestions, allowing you to fulfil your objectives. Whether you’re a journalist, playboy, businessman or international spy, you each have your own objectives which can only be achieved with social interactions with other players.
Chatting is facilitated through a text-to-chat system, which means that everyone sounds a bit like Siri, but also means that there are no preformed conversation paths, you can say whatever you want to whoever you want. This allows for some wonderful free-form story-crafting, with love, scandal and espionage all commonplace on this luxury yacht. Much like our recently featured Storium, Velvet Sundown is a game that thrives on social interaction and creativity, as such, if you’re playing with the right people it can be a blast.

Bounty Hounds Online is a Sci-Fi MMORPG with with large scale 100vs100 battles, daily and weekly PvP and PvE events, futuristic vehicles and transforming mech-pets – including velociraptors, dragons and wolves.

It’s a good looking game that put’s a large emphasis on the pets, with them all able to transform into an epic robot form. The game features 6 playable classes with unique combat abilities. You can also craft, upgrade your gear, ride a futuristic motorcycle, or glide on a hoverboard across our beautifully designed maps. Form guilds and alliances and participate in territory wars, as well as defending against T-Rex invasions.

Das Tal is a good looking new Sandbox MMORPG that focusses on player interaction and PvP combat.

The game features full and open PvP, lots of loot, limited grind, free character development and skill based combat. Players will build and besiege player settlements and battle over crafting resources, with players able to pick each servers rules - allowing them to play the game they want to play.

This Alpha Test will focus on having fun with some good old-fashioned PvP combat. The gameplay will involve two clans battling it out over five key landmarks on the map, earning points to win the round with the more landmarks they capture and defend. Players will choose between three armor classes and three weapons sets, combining these however they like to fit their playstyle. The playtests will focus on fast paced and diverse combat situations with this mix of characters fighting for map control. Additional features such as experience gains, character progression and proper clan warfare will come later in development.
