In Goomba Simulator 2015 you play as Billy, the first goomba Mario stomps in Super Mario Bros. Life as a goomba isn’t too great. You come home with many plumber related accidents, you cannot provide for your family, you can only walk in one direction, and you have a very demanding boss.

But one day everything changes. Mario moves on without taking his mushroom, so it bounces down to you. Now you are able to jump and walk in both directions! You decide to explore the other areas of the Mushroom Kingdom and soon you may start to find some dark secrets in this charming and surprising goomba adventure.

Open The Door and Smile is a short and surprisingly dark first person narrative that explores themes of broken relationships, drug use and custody battles.

You wake up in your apartment, with blurry vision and a text from your ex-partner saying that the police are on their way. There are bottles of pills scattered around the house, you must dispose of them before they arrive, but you’ll need to focus your drug-addled mind to do so. After a while you’ll slowly start to drift out of consciousness, so have to press the right mouse button to focus (and also to switch between actions).

There are 6 possible endings, each one pretty depressing, including one where you ‘win’ which shows just how far people will go to hurt someone they once loved. There are no winners in this game, just a broken person acting like a monster as she struggles to just open the door and smile.

Writhe: The Thing from the Omega Sector is a fun pixel art arcade action game in which you control a multi-tentacle alien organism that must escape captivity and devour the scientists that imprisoned it.

Having recently come first place in the Ludum Dare 33 Compo (Mobs Inc. came 1st in the Jam), Writhe: The Thing from the Omega Sector impresses with it’s fun scientist munching gameplay, superb soundtrack and excellent pixel art animation. Scientist-munching multi-tentacled monster fun!
