Love is a simplistic looking, but wonderfully inventive and seriously hard gravity flipping puzzle platformer.
Don’t let the retro visuals fool you, Love offers up some of the best precision platforming seen since Super Meat Boy. Each screen of this massive sprawling Metroidvania-esque maze is a puzzle that must be solved with brain power and deft platforming skills. Each area looks more daunting and more impossible than the last, but thanks to the superb level design and near-perfect character movement physics.
Some may overlook Love due to it’s simplistic pixel art visuals, but that really would be a travesty. Gravity flipping platformers have been seen before, but none of them hold a candle to Love’s fantastic level design, and nothing beats the feeling of elation as you conquer it’s seemingly impossible obstacles and discover it’s many secrets. 'Love’ really isn’t too strong a word for this precision puzzle platformer.
