Luckslinger - an awesome hip-hop infused spaghetti western action platformer where luck has a direct effect on the game.

You play a cowboy, accompanied by his trusty duck, who’s fortune is directly affected by his luck.  If your luck is high , good things will happen, if you’re luck is low bad things will happen (often to comical effect). It’s a fun system, that keeps things interesting but never really feels too unfair when you’re down on your luck.

Featuring fantastic pixel art style, full on nice little touches and a great sense of humor, Luckslinger is one of the freshest, wittiest and strangest action platformers you’re likely to play.

The Foolish Brave - a challenging Megaman-esque Manga Inspired 2D action platformer.

Forget WASD, as this game utilizes the arrow keys for movement, and ASD are technique controls. The conversation mode is very tidy, and overlays the saturated and blooming pixel art world backdrop nicely. The Foolish Brave is easy to play, but pretty challenging, doesn’t feel like “just another sidescroller” and is slightly reminiscent of the original Megaman, but with its own Manga flavor to it.

Rocket Ranger Reloaded is a great looking action adventure game based on the 1988 classicRocket Ranger - but with tons of extra bells and whistles and a massive graphical upgrade.

Maintaining the tongue-in-cheek B-movie storyline of the original, involving time travel and Nazi’s harvesting a rare mineral from a secret moon base, it looks set to offer charmingly nostalgic blast of pulp science fiction.   The full game will feature a mix of action, strategy and RPG elements, but the Alpha Demo focuses on a Space Harrier-Style arcade into-the-screen shoot-em-up action sequence - great fun and full of spectacle.

Already over halfway to it’s Kickstarter goal of $89,999, Rocket Ranger Reloaded looks set to offer nostalgic thrills of the original, but with a vast graphical upgrade and lots of new features.  Rocket Ranger you are cleared for take-off.

Kelvin and the Infamous Machine is a wonderfully animated Lucasarts-esque point-and-click adventure that sees the not-so-brilliant Kelvin, trying to stop a mad scientist from using a time machine to drastically alter the world.

After a lifetime of research, Dr Lupin has created a time machine which rather unfortunately looks an awful lot like a portable shower - This promptly makes Lupin a laughing stock of the Scientific community, which he vows to take vengeance on.  Lupin then launches himself into the past, bent on stealing credit for humanity’s greatest works, and only Kelvin (his slightly inept lab assistant) can stop him.

What follows is a charming point and click adventure, full of clever puzzle design and cheeky humor.  It feels a lot like a classic Lucasarts adventures of old, but does stamp it’s own personality and style on the formula.  Currently halfway through it’s Kickstarter with half of it’s funding, we can’t wait to see more of Kelvin and his rather ridiculous adventures.

Viktor is a beautifully hand drawn point and click steampunk adventure, will of colorful characters, inventive puzzles and wonderfully irreverent humor.

You aid Victor (an impulsive wild boar) on his quest to become the Emperor of Austria-Hungary, engaging in all sorts of outlandish adventures including an airship fight, meeting the love of his life in an anarchist basement and helping Tesla test a brand new incredible machine.  These adventures are wonderfully represented through hand crafted animation, resembling a saturday morning kids cartoon, but with a genuinely funny adult sense of humor.

The Alpha Demo takes part in Viktor’s home and offers up a great taste of the irreverent sense of humor and (fairly) logical puzzles to expect in the full game.  Viktor's home is packed with nice little touches, such as an almost accurate map of the world and a cockroach covered bathtub that doubles as a bed.  You’ll also meet Victor’s best friend, a psychic and slightly mad Owl called Martin.  It takes around 15 mins to complete the Alpha Demo, it’s a blast and will certainly leaves you excited for more boar of Victor’s story.
