Has There Ever Been a More Iconic Intro Screen Than The Original Sonic The Hedgehog Video Game?

Sonic’s a busy guy, he’s not been hanging around waiting for you to play. Once you load up the game then he’ll think about making is way to the loading screen and popping his head through that logo, just in time for one of the greatest songs in video game history to kick in. Then he just starts wagging his finger as if he already knows this game is too cool for you and you’re gonna suck at it.

It has to be one of the greatest intro screens ever made and the perfect introduction to the little blue hedgehog. Is there anything that tops it?
