Harmonia Tactics is a tactical turn based strategy game where you take control of a small force and use defeat your enemies using superior planing and tactics.

In-game, time flows similar to active battle time in Final Fantasy VIIusing real-time when exploring, but switching to turn based combat when in battle.  It’s recommended to play the tutorial, as it does a good job of introducing the game mechanics, during battle character selection, ambushing and positioning are key factors to your success.  At the moment you can play single and multiplayer modes, including Scenarios, ‘Tower War’, ’Cheesetopia’, and 'Battle Arena’.

In Tower War you choose to be on the red or blue team.  As the name suggests it’s the red tower’s army against the blue tower’s army.  You control three characters from your side of different classes, and must battle the other team in hectic, but fun turn based combat.  Cheesetopia is an intriguing mode that’s effectively a horror/survival RPG set in an abandoned base where you must solve the mystery of the base’s unfortunate inhabitants’ demise.  The final mode, Battle Arena is a good way to experience Harmonia’s battle system, where you must defeat hordes of monsters and upgrade your team as you take on the 15 round arena.

There is also a sprite editor you can access from the main menu to use custom sprites for the characters you control.  Hopefully someday we will also be able to create our own modules because Harmonia Tactics seems like a game that would be just as fun to mod as to play (and it’s certainly fun to play).

Beat Patrol is a challenging rhythm action side scrolling bullet hell shooter where you dodge the enemies attacks then shoot in time with the music.

The music is wonderful, and if you have a half decent sense of rhythm it’s (reasonably) easy to match up the beats.  Things start off easy, but it soon ramps up to bullet hell shoot-em-up levels of difficulty.  It’s a fun and challenging game that will test your sense of rhythm as well as your reflexes.

Divine Souls is a fast paced real-time action RPG with an extensive combat combo system, PvE dungeon instances, 4 unique classes, lots of loot and a MOBA-Style PvP battle Arena.

In combat the combo system is easy to pick up and allows for some pretty spectacular fights.  Completing dungeons (of various modes) will earn you XP and loot, which allow you to level up and customise your character.  You’re able to form parties with friends to tackle the dungeons or enter the fun MOBA-Style battle arena for some fast paced PvP action.

While Divine Souls isn’t exactly spectacular in the graphical department, the combo combat system is fun, with no need to wait for cooldown timers, making for combat that’s mentally and visually engaging.

Enterchained is a 2D co-op gladiator hack and slash game with a great art style where you fight to the death in a Colosseum.  You’re not alone though, you are literally chained with a fellow (playable) gladiator which you use to your advantage when fighting enemies, tripping them with your chains and hacking them to death.

Fittingly for a gladiator game, the game is really brutal with lots of violence and blood splatter.  There’s a nice variety of enemies, with you fighting off wave after wave, and because your chained with your gladiator buddy, you will have to work together to get the maximum co-op/killing effect out of it.  If you’re looking for some unique co-op combat with plenty of gladitorial violence, Enterchained will certainly keep you entertained.

The Cow Flew Over The Moon is a creepy and surreal first person experimental adventure game with a story based on the stimulus of dream interpretation.

The game has a foreboding atmosphere, with its vague narrative left open to the player’s imagination, giving half the story through the level progression and leaving the rest for the player to piece together by inspecting and interacting with the environment.  In it’s short 15 minute playtime, you’ll explore, search for items and solve puzzles to help you find out what’s really going on.

The Cow Flew Over The Moon shows a lot of promise - an atmospheric, short and surreal adventure.  Development has been halted, but we’d certainly like to see more from developer @JonnyWallaceP, who also created the very cool Radical Squad.
