Seven Weeks of Cat Monarchy is a funny cat-based adventure in which you have to cover for the Cat Monarch who’s gone on holiday for seven weeks, and must make important decisions in his absence.

There are two ways to approach Seven Days Of Cat Monarchy, one is to play like a human, granting your subjects requests because it’s the right thing to do, or you can try to get into the mindset of a cat, denying requests just for the hell of it.  Because as we all know, cats really don’t give a f**k!

Kittens is a highly addictive blend of incremental clicker, resource management and kittens that tarts off as an incremental clicker then evolves into a very complex resource management game – a huge one that with lots of hidden depth – it’s not called “the Dark Souls of incremental gaming” for nothing!

Visually and gameplay-wise it’s reminiscent of A Dark Room (which we can’t recommend highly enough), and although Kittens doesn’t match A Dark Room‘s amount of genre twists, the resource management mechanics have far more depth.  A deep, rewarding, surprising, challenging and ridiculously addictive kittencremental clicker.

Triad is a surprisingly tricky little puzzler with a simple premise – get three people and a cat to sleep on a bed without disturbing each other.

You slot path characters onto areas of the bed and see how they fit – BUT each character behaves differently – one snores, one needs plenty of room to turn over, another rolls around until she hits something and the cat (behaving much like a cat in real life) will sleep in it’s favourite spot even if it’s occupied by someone else.

It really is possible to come up with an optimum sleeping solution (sort of) in this whimsical bed-based puzzler, but it’ll take a bit of manoeuvring to manage this charming ménage à trois.

Cat Show is a fabulously funny little game in which you play a naked human pretending to be a cat to win the prize money in a cat show.

To win the competition you’ll have to choose the correct responses to questions and complete some short Wario Ware-esque mini-games.  You must be vigilant throughout the competition, and never drop your guard, you’ll have to think like a cat, play like a cat and talk like a cat to stand a chance of winning that prize money (and not get arrested for public indecency!)

Ever wanted to know what you’d look like as a cat? The Tamperdrome Collection is a bizarre experience that allows you to randomly generate dogs, islands, ghosts, cats, strange beings and troupes of goblins, all represented in a strangely unsettling greyscale pixel art visual style.

There are six different elements to The Tamperdrome Collection, allowing you to create various different oddities, but it’s the cats, the ghosts and the islands that are the most fun to play around with.  Different randomly generated islands are created depending on what co-ordinates you put in, whilst different ghosts and cats are randomly generated depending on what names you give them, each with their own unique generated soundscapes.  So if you type in your name you can see what you’ll look like as a cat!

The ghosts can be a little creepy, but strangely enough it’s the cats that will freak you out the most, with their blank unblinking stare as they peer out the screen at you.  It’s a very odd, unique and unsettling randomly generated experience.

How good are you at spotting cats?  Where is Cat? is a charming hidden object game in which you must find a cat (and other items the cat wants) in a variety of different scenes from around the house.

This isn’t as easy as it seems though as most the time you’ll only be able to see a fragment of the cat, with the rest of it obscured behind an object.  Find the cat enough times and it’ll then ask you to find and fetch things for a very special party…

There are plenty of hidden object games out there, but few with the charm and warmth as Where is Cat?  A well crafted hidden object game with plenty of heart.
