HeroesGo is a F2P action MMORPG developed by ESTsoft with a fusion of classic dungeon-crawling adventure paired with action-packed combat. It’s got the visual style and epic story of classic JRPGs like Final Fantasy, but faster paced, Zelda-style action combat.

Artifex Mundi, maker of games such as D.W.A.R.F.S. and Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood, are looking for Beta testers to join them and test out future releases. Selected Beta testers will get sent Betas to try out and test. Play the game as much as you like and then fill out a short survey about it.

MechWarrior Tactics is a turn-based strategy game, blending tactical gameplay, deep collectability and unique online features as you command numerous BattleMechs against an online opponent towards victory.

MechWarrior Tactics allows players the freedom to collect and purchase combat and cosmetic resources to outfit each Battlemech and assemble a Lance of four. Master each ‘Mech Chassis, perfect insidious tactical maneuvers and develop endless new configurations in your Mechbay.

Molecats is a beautifully crafted puzzle adventure game with lots of character. You are tasked with leading your wonderfully animated Molecats through the game levels by rotating tiles, collecting mushrooms and discovering secrets on the way.

Bigger, better and harder than ever, Dark Souls is back to kick your ass for the ridiculously short time of 3 hours. PS3 Dark Souls 2 open Beta tests will take part On the 26th/27th of October, first thing in the morning in Europe and in the middle of the night in the US. Trust Dark Souls to even make Beta testing as hard as possible!
Namco Bandai claim that this Beta will contain ”an entirely new area of the game“ that will allow players to "delve into one of the most treacherous areas of the Dark Souls 2 world”.

UPDATE: Unfortunately there were problems for the North American Beta Test, Namco Bandai have apologised and confirmed that there will be another one. Everyone that downloaded the client will get into the next Beta test. No date has been released yet, but we’ll keep you updated when we know more at Alpha Beta Gamer

Prestige is a charming wizard academy simulation with a similar art style and design to the KairoSoft games (Game Dev Story, Hot Springs Story, etc.). You are the Headmaster of your own wizard academy. Research different spells, train your students to use them, then send them out to take part in classic RPG battles to gain more rewards.

The game will be coming out on all mobile platforms but beta testing will be browser based

Iubes is a fun mix of real-time strategy game and god-game with some minecraft-esque aesthetics.

You don’t have direct control of your iubes, instead you decide what has to be built, then the iubes do whatever they think they have to. You must manage your time and iubes to build your city, defend it, make soldiers, and destroy your enemy.

It’s an interesting game with a wonderful art style and some great ideas.

We covered Amygdala while it was in Alpha, you control a disembodied head, shooting enemies, pooping bricks and killing wizards to make a magic meat body in this fun and entertaining platformer.

Amygdala is now in Beta and the devs are looking for Beta testers to help fine tune their game. Beta testers will receive access to regular build updates, a full DRM free copy of the game upon release on Android and PC, and DLC/expansions for free.
