These Monsters is a creepy, surreal and beautiful procedurally generated experience in which you explore an infinite series of museums, all filled with Predator night vision-style portraits of monsters.

It feels like a nice counterpoint to Secret Habitat (by the same developer).  Unlike Secret Habitat, These Monsters doesn’t feel like a very nice place to be, with monster portraits surrounding you in all directions and a world that’s been touched by darkness, making for a more intense and slightly unsettling experience.

The Puff Up Club is a strangely addictive massively multiplayer ‘game’ in which players from all around the world work together, pressing a button as fast as they can and attempt to fill up a balloon with air until it bursts.

It was created as at part of an art exhibition that focuses on fleeting and precarious moments of fragile balance. The Puff Up Club certainly fits well with this theme and also makes for a strangely riveting experience – especially when the balloon’s almost ready to burst!

Storium is an awesome collaborative online storytelling game in which you and your friends (or strangers) play characters who interact through a series of scenes, overcoming challenges and writing your own unique story.

The Narrator chooses the world that the story is set in (with choices such as ‘occult pulp horror’, ‘medical drama’ and ‘cyberpunk’), then starts each scene, using cards to give the players challenges to overcome.  The other players then try to overcome these challenges, progressing the story in fun and interesting ways.

It’s a clever storycrafting experience that nurtures creativity, imagination and interaction.
