Paper Dream is a fun, fast paced, twitchy paper airplane game, created by the students of Lawrence Tech, where you require quick thinking and fast reflexes to traverse the levels while trying to rack up a high score.

Levels are cluttered with a variety of shcool themed obstructions to impede your progress and are generally pretty tricky, especially as your paper plane is remarkably fast. This fast gameplay and the ability to restart quickly makes for a very addictive game, with you constantly trying to pull of a perfect run, squeezing through extremely tight gaps and even fighting boss battles.

Nitro Nation is a very pretty drag racing game for mobile devices, with races won and lost through gear changes and correct use of nitrus.  It has lots of officially licensed cars, an impressive array of upgrades (that still keep the game balanced), and the ability to fully customise the look of your cars that rivals most pc & console games.

It’s a fun game with a lot of polish, that feels like playing a Fast & Furious game (if the F&F games weren’t all garbage).

When a man has his body stolen he typically has one of two reactions; his head either dies, or sometimes it sets out on an adventure as a disembodied head, hellbent on revenge.  Sometimes it doesn’t but in Amygdala it does.

Amygdala is a 2D platformer for PC and Android that has a great visual style, good platforming mechanics, and a nice sense of humour.  Traverse the levels with your disembodied head, shoot enemies, poop bricks, kill wizards and make a magic meat body to replace the one you’ve had stolen.  This game may not be highbrow, but it’s definitely fun!
